Crankshafts
Backed by over 80 years experience there is very little that the staff in this area don't know about diesel engine crankshafts. From pre grinding inspection through to straightening, grinding, shot peening radii, surface measurement and final inspection, these processes are rigidly controlled. Before any reclaiming is carried out a full visual inspection is done to ensure serviceability including:
- Testing for cracks (also testing post grinding in the case of Caterpillar®)
- Hardness testing
- Measuring journal sizes
- Straightness
Crankshaft services include:

Connecting Rods
